Policy

  Appointments that you make are held specifically for you. When you cancel these appointments without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that time, and canvases on our waitlist miss the opportunity to receive services.

Our appointments are confirmed 72 and 24 hours in advance because we understand it is difficult to remember sometimes. This gives you ample time to reschedule if you experience a conflict of time. Credit cards are now required to hold your appointment time. This information is entered directly into your account profile and secured so no one can access that information.

All policies are in place to benefit you, as well as our artists, and to provide the best quality of services in each of our canvas’ experiences. If we do not receive the required notice for adjustments + cancellations, the following will determine the general breakdown of charges:

  • if you need to reschedule or cancel your reservation, a 24-hour advanced notice is required, and subject to a charge up to the full-service cost without sufficient notice.

    all reservations canceled the day of will incur a full charge of the service cost.

  • we understand life happens and you may be running behind. please call us immediately. we schedule the necessary time needed for each service and accommodating late arrivals may not be possible without disrupting other canvas’s schedules that day.

    if you are going to be late for your appointment, please call ahead.

    60+ minute service: if you are more than 10 minutes late, you may need to be rescheduled and subject to a charge up to the full-service cost.

    service under 60 minutes: if more than five minutes late, you may need to be rescheduled and subject to a charge up to the full-service cost.

    please plan to arrive 5+ minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow for traffic and parking.

  • liability waivers: services that require a liability waiver include any lash, brow, skincare or waxing service. (due to chemicals interacting with the skin or eyes) we provide waivers during online booking but require a parental guardian to be present at time of service for minors. if a parental guardian is not present at time of service to approve, we will not be able to perform service and the card on file will be charged 50% no-show fee as we will be unable to fill that time.

    children: please ensure that children are seated + supervised at all times for their safety and our other canvases. if you can not guarantee this, please find child care for your visit.

    lost items: browning studio + our artists are not responsible for any items left behind in the airbrush tanning or esthetician’s rooms. please triple-check that you have all of your belongings before leaving the studio. if we find anything left behind, we will do our best to contact you asap + keep your belongings safe.

    refunds: all product sales are final. service refunds by commission artists must be authorized by the owner. service refunds by independent artists must be done through artist + will be completely separate from browning studio. if you are unsure if your artist is independent or commissioned, just ask! :)

  • on-location pageants: 90% of payment may be refunded up to 7 days prior to service(s) or if the pageant has been officially canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.

    on-location weddings: 95% of payment may be refunded with at least 30 days’ notice. 16-29 days’ notice is required to receive a 50% refund. no refund will be given within 15 days of the event. separately, the booking deposit may be refunded up to 5 days after payment, no refund after 5-day grace period.
