Browning Studio, our story begins with a single, profound idea: browning. To us, brown is far more than a color, it’s a feeling of warmth and comfort, a celebration of natural beauty drawn from the earth’s own palette. Browning, as both verb and vision, captures exactly what we do: a gentle transformation that enhances your unique canvas, revealing its most radiant, confident glow.

We started with one service—airbrush tanning, the dedicated art of browning—and grew organically by welcoming talented, like-minded artists. Each brings their own specialty, united by an unwavering commitment to their craft and to helping every canvas feel their absolute best.

Whether you experience our signature airbrush spray tanning, lash lifting, precision brow artistry, or our full range of hair services and skincare treatments, we remain devoted to mastering each technique, not merely to meet expectations, but to exceed them with unreasonable hospitality.

Policies

  • We truly value your time as well as our artists. To keep everything running smoothly, we require a card on file. This is stored securely + will never be charged unless the policy is broken, or if you’d like to use it for easy checkout.

    Cancellations — Please give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows our artists the chance to offer the spot to someone on the wait list.

    Late arrivals — If you’re more than 5 minutes late to services under 60 minutes, or more than 10 minutes late to services over 60 minutes, we will not be able to provide the service with the quality time it deserves + will be considered a no show.

    If either policy is broken, the card on file will be charged 100% of the service.

    We know things come up, + we always do our best to work with you to help prevent this, if possible.

  • Browning only offers gift cards through our own channels. We do not sell or authorize gift cards on any third-party sites, and anything sold elsewhere is not issued by us.

    Where to Purchase

    Online:
    Buy directly through our official Vagaro platform. Your gift card will automatically attach to the account you’re logged into and can also be emailed to you or a chosen recipient.

    In Person:
    Visit either of our locations to pick up a physical gift card.

    To protect yourself from scammers, please purchase only through the options above. We’re unable to honor or redeem gift cards bought from any other source.

    Expiration

    • Gift cards purchased directly from Browning Studio expire 1 year from the purchase date.

    • Gift cards donated by Browning Studio expire 6 months from the issue date.

    If you ever have questions about a gift card, we’re always here to help.

  • We love our little canvases, but for safety and relaxation, Browning Studio is not a childcare facility. Due to the use of hot tools, chemicals, and sharp instruments, children may not be left unattended at any time. Minors must remain seated with a supervising adult who is not reciving a service.

    If Supervision is not available, we will reschedule; our cancellation policy may apply. Browning Studio is not responsbile for the supervision, safety, or belongings of accompanying minors.

  • Browning provides some services that require a liability waiver. These are mandatory to fill out before receiving services.

    If a parental guardian is not present at time of service for minors, we will not be able to perform service and the card on file will be charged as a no-show.

  • Products: All product sales are final.

    Direct Artists: Service refunds by direct artists must be authorized by the owner.

    Independent Artists: Service refunds by independent artists (rent space within the studio) must be done through the artist + are separate from browning studio.

  • Browning is not responsible for any items left behind in the service rooms or common spaces. Please triple-check that you have all of your belongings before leaving the studio.

    If we find anything left behind, we will do our best to trace back who it belongs to and contact you asap.

  • We have two studios in Greenville, South Carolina. Both have their own connected parking lots, so you never have to stress about paying or validating.

    Browning Midtown: Our first location is at 1941 Woodruff Road, Suite D. It’s a little cozier in size but big on all the Browning vibes.

    Browning Downtown: Our second studio is right on the edge of Downtown Greenville near Cleveland Park. It’s our newer location + featured on the front of our website. You can find it at 1322 East Washington Street, Suite A1.

  • Browning is a hybrid salon, which means we have two types of artists:

    1. Direct Artists — Our in-house team members. All tanning and esthetics services are with direct artists, and about half of our hair artists are too.

    2. Independent Artists — These are artists who rent space in our studio but run their businesses separately. You can also book with many of them online. They’re clearly labeled on our Artists page and on Vagaro “Staff” pages.

    Booking with Direct Artists:

    Online — Available 24/7 on Vagaro. Tap any “book online” button on our website to be directed or download the Vagaro app for free.

    Phone — Our Studio Coordinator is available by text or call during communication hours.

  • We give our artists the freedom to set schedules that fit both their lifestyle and their clients. That means some may start earlier or stay later than our communication hours.

    These communication hours are the times when a Studio Coordinator is available to help you with booking, cancellations, reschedules, + general questions:

    Weekdays: 9 am – 6 pm
    Saturdays: 10 am – 3 pm
    Sundays: Closed

    Need to book outside those hours? No problem, you can always schedule online 24/7.

  • We make it easy to find your perfect match with our Artists page. There, you’ll see every artist at Browning, both direct and independent, along with their specialties, location, + Instagram portfolio.

    Not sure where to start? No worries. You can always reach out to our Studio Coordinator, + they’ll help connect you with the artist who’s the best fit for you.

  • While consultations are available for most of our services, they’re only required for a few: Global Blonding, Creative Color, and Hair Extensions.

    During the consultation, we’ll take a look at your hair, talk through its history and your goals, + go over budget to create a care plan that works best for your lifestyle.

  • Whether it’s your very first tan or your hundredth, our Tanning page (found under Services → Tanning) walks you through everything you need to know.

    At the top, you’ll see pricing + service details, and as you scroll you’ll find an in-depth FAQ that answers just about every question that comes up.

  • We’d love to give discounts to everyone, and we do our best to keep pricing fair + accessible while still valuing our artist’s work. Every career brings something important to the community (and honestly, most deserve more appreciation). That said, we do have a few special discounts available:

    Teachers, Military, and Police: $5 off browning services. Just show proof of occupation to redeem.

    Birthdays: Available to everyone! Add your birthday to your online profile or let our Studio Coordinator know. You can redeem $5 off any service within 7 days of your birthday (before or after) as our little gift to you.
